How to Wash Your Tights & Hosiery
- Hand wash recommended: To maintain the quality and longevity of your tights and anti-chafing shorts, gently hand wash in cold water with similar colours.
- Machine washing (if needed): Place your Better Tights products inside a pillowcase or lingerie bag to prevent snagging and damage. Use a delicate cycle and low temperature.
Protecting Your Hosiery
Hosiery fabrics are delicate by nature. To avoid snags or holes:
- Keep tights away from jewellery, rough surfaces, and sharp objects
- Take extra care when putting on or removing your tights

Leggings Care Instructions
- Turn leggings inside out before washing

- Do not tumble dry Better Tights products
- Gently squeeze out excess water and air dry flat
- Avoid direct heat (such as radiators), as this can damage stretch and fabric integrity
- Do not use fabric softener, as it can break down fibres and reduce durability

- 30 denier sheer tights: 87% Nylon, 13% Elastane
- Anti-chafing shorts: 92% Nylon, 8% Elastane
Printed Tights Care
We recommend hand washing printed tights before first wear, as some colour transfer may occur. Please note that Better Tights cannot take responsibility for transfer-related issues.
